Flip books (as the name implies) consist of pages bound in such a way as to make it easy to flip through the pages one-by-one. Flip books can be used in presentations whether of a purely informational nature (as in accompanying a public lecture) or in a sales context. Page-a-day calendars are often made as flip books that can function as perpetual calendars by not specifying a particular year.
Spiral/Coil, Wire-O, or 3-Ring Binding
Spiral/coil and Wire-O binding make it easy to flip the pages in the book. And, once flipped, the page will not fall back. Some flip books use 3-ring binders to allow for pages to be readily removed and replaced. Many flip books are made with triangular easel stands to make it easier to use during a presentation.

Flip books are portable, set-up in seconds and don’t require a computer, projector or any electrical equipment to operate. Simply flip a page with a hand!
Double-Sided Versatility
Because only one side of a sheet is visible before it’s flipped, it’s possible to create sequences where side one of each page represents or can be dedicated to a single topic while side two (visible once all the pages have been flipped and turned around) can be another topic altogether.
Custom Sizes
Flip books can be printed in practically any size and in any number of ink combinations ranging from full, 4-color process to simple black ink. Many flip books will have have laminated pages throughout or just laminated covers. It’s also possible to include section dividers (with or without tabs) to locate specific sections for easy reference.
