For most trade show displays, it’s helpful and practical to have a folding table in your display space on which to place promotional literature, handouts, etc. Also booth attendants can sit behind the table when not intermingling with visitors or guests. To make the table a more integral part of the display, a custom-printed table throw or a table runner is a necessity. Table throws and runners are ideal for displaying your company or organization’s logo along with a marketing slogan or tag line.

What’s the Difference Between a Table Throw and a Table Runner

A table throw is a cloth sheet made to cover a table in one of two ways: 1) Full Table (covers table top and extends to the floor on all four sides); 2) Open-Back (covers table top and extends to the floor on left/right sides). Full table throws are recommended in situations where the table can be viewed from all sides. Open-Back throws are ideal for exhibitors who want to grab a seat behind the table when they’re otherwise not up greeting visitors and guests.

A table runner is a cloth sheet intended to cover just the middle section (front, top, back) of a table. Typically, a table runner is draped over another plain white, full-cover sheet.

Table Sizes

Folding tables are most commonly available in 4’, 5’ 6’, and 8’ lengths with 24” or 30” widths. Full table and open back throws are available to fit these sizes. Table runners are sized in widths ranging from 2’ to 5’ to accommodate these various table lengths.
